Manchester United vs. Liverpool: Red Devils Will Reassert Dominance

Manchester United is ready to put the hurt on Liverpool at Anfield, and in the process they will take the wind out of all EPL teams' sails. When the Red Devils are at their best, the rest of the league is playing for second place.
Recently, they have been afflicted with a tendency to sleepwalk through matches though.

Red Devils' Recent Trend of Mediocrity
Man U took a perfect EPL record into their September 14th match with Benfica. They stumbled to a 1-1 draw in that one, and their mediocrity continued.
Including that match, they had a five-match streak that found them going 2-0-3. During that streak, even their wins were not particularly impressive.

The Red Devils bounced back from that five-game stretch with a solid 2-0 win over Norwich. They will keep that momentum going with a big win over Liverpool.Liverpool beat Man U the last time these two met on March 6th. Man U will use that to fuel an all-out performance in this one.

Prediction: Manchester United 3, Liverpool 0

Man U's attack began to show their fluidity and aggressiveness their last time on the pitch. Wayne Rooney is back to his elite form after returning from his hamstring injury, and the offense is following his cue.
They will not be stopped in this one.

Manchester United akhirnya memberi kontrak baru kepada gelandang muda mereka, Tom Cleverley.

The Daily Mail mengabarkan Cleverley diberi hadiah perpanjangan kontrak hingga tahun 2015 mendatang setelah menampilkan performa luar biasa di Old Trafford.

Kontrak baru yang diterima gelandang berusia 22 tahun tersebut membuat gajinya setara dengan pemain-pemain muda United lain seperti Chris Smalling dan Phil Jones, yang menyetujui gaji £40 ribu per-pekan ketika hengkang dari Blackburn musim panas lalu.

Kegemilangan performa Cleverley dinilai mampu menggantikan peran Paul Scholes yang telah pensiun, dan juga sebagai obat luka kegagalan mereka mendapatkan Wesley Sneijder dari Inter Milan.

Mikey Welsh 'The Weezer' Tewas!

Kabar duka kembali merebak dari dunia musik. Sabtu (08/10) lalu, mantan gitaris band Weezer, Mikey Welsh ditemukan tewas di sebuah kamar hotel yang berlokasi di Chicago di usianya yang ke 40 tahun. Diduga penyebab kematiannya adalah overdosis obat-obatan.

Kabar duka kembali merebak dari dunia musik. Sabtu (08/10) lalu, mantan gitaris band Weezer, Mikey Welsh ditemukan tewas di sebuah kamar hotel yang berlokasi di Chicago di usianya yang ke 40 tahun. Diduga penyebab kematiannya adalah overdosis obat-obatan.
Berita kematiannya itu pertama kali diumumkan lewat Facebook, yang kemudian juga dikonfirmasi lewat twitter. Walaupun faktor narkotika baru menjadi dugaan sementara kematiannya, namun hal itu sangat diyakini banyak pihak mengingat Mikey memang diketahui banyak mengkonsumsi obat untuk mengatasi penyakit syaraf yang dideritanya.
Kematiannya yang tiba-tiba tersebut spontan mengejutkan banyak pihak. Pasalnya, sebelum kematiannya, tidak ada laporan bahwa dirinya mengalami gangguan kesehatan atau semacamnya. Sebagaimana dilansir dari holyywoodgossip, pria asal Vermont tersebut berada di Chicago dalam rangka menghadiri konser Weezer di kota tersebut.
Mikey sendiri bergabung dengan Weezer pada tahun 1998. Namun dia memutuskan keluar dari Weezer karena alasan kesehatan. Dia dilaporkan mengalami gangguan syaraf sehingga tidak memungkinkan lagi baginya untuk bermusik. Dia kemudian pindah ke Vermont bersama istri dan anaknya.
Setelah kepindahannya ke Vermont, Mikey menjalani kehidupan sebagai seorang pelukis yang cukup sukses. Namun dia juga tidak sepenuhnya meninggalkan dunia musik karena dia masih mengikuti perjalanan Weezer. Hingga akhir hayatnya pun, dia sedang dalam perjalanan bersama Weezer.
Akibat penyakitnya tersebut, Mikey terpaksa mengkonsumsi berbagai obat-obatan yang akhirnya membawa pengaruh lebih buruk pada tubuhnya. Dia bahkan sempat dilaporkan koma, karena jantungnya sempat berhenti berdetak. Dia pun segera dilarikan ke rumah sakit. Kini Mikey pun telah beristirahat dengan tenang. Selamat jalan Mikey...
